The housing company Humaljärven Helmi was registered on May 31, 1989. The company owns a property in the municipality of Kirkkonummi and four detached houses. The property covers an area of 4 hectares and is located on the shores of Lake Humaljärvi. Three of the houses were built during the company’s founding phase. House D, now for sale, was built in 2005. The management area of the house is about 8000 square meters.
Unlike others, House D does not have its own shoreline, but the shareholder has the right to his/her own berth and pier, as well as the company’s fishing waters in Kirkkonummi’s second largest lake, fishy Humaljärvi. The shareholder is also entitled to the company’s common tennis court. There is no monthly maintenance fee for the company, but the company’s expenses are divided equally or distributed among the shareholders. House D’s payments to the housing company mainly consist of the following:

- Property tax 600 €/ year
- Road lighting 35 €/ year
- Snow plowing fee 0 – 200 €/ year
Due to the form of a housing company, the asset transfer tax payable in connection with the transaction is only 2 %, while it is 4 % for real estates. Share trading is also simpler than property trading.
Kirkkonummi has a population of about 40,000 and is growing all the time. The connection from Helsinki to Kirkkonummi is entirely a motorway and the journey takes half an hour. Ring Road III ends in the west to Kirkkonummi. Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about 40 km away. The railway from Helsinki to Turku passes through Kirkkonummi and the train journey to Helsinki takes half an hour. Kirkkonummi belongs to HSL’s tariff area.
The services and leisure opportunities of Kirkkonummi municipality are very diverse. The municipality has four golf courses and several outdoor areas, riding stables, and sports and swimming areas. Peuramaa has a ski slope. For boaters, there is a guest marina with services in Porkkala.
